Another outstanding thing about the Ardennes, apart from the beautiful plains, is the number of war graves. The beauty of the region belies the scars it carries from the two world wars. Had the soldiers the option to say no to mutual antagonism, they wouldn't have met their untimely deaths. The visits to both the Allied and German war graves convince me that war (to borrow someone's words), is a highly-organised corporation of theft. White balance: Automatic and cloudy. Nikon D70.
